STL to Solid - Christmas calender in need of help

STL to Solid - Christmas calender in need of help

(OP)
I´v been searching all over the internet for a solution and now I set my hopes to you here on the forum.

My assignment is to model a Christmas ham in an oven using FEM.
The geometry is scanned using a camera and Autodesk 123d (real nice program)
Meshmixer was then used to close the holes. (here is the STL file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/dvp0zvt3ujq634z/HamClose...)
Imported the STL-file into SolidWorks and then exported as a SAT-file.

The SAT-file does appear in ABAQUS very nice but it´s just a shell.
Even though I import it as a solid there are only solid faces forming a hollow shell.

My goal is to fill the shape with tetrahedral solid elements and then preform a thermal analysis telling me when the ham is ready.

For the ones interested:
This one of the episodes of the christmas calendar that we are creating this winter. The main purpose of this particular episode is to enlighten people who are not familiar to FEM. By scanning a real christmas ham we make a bit more funny! =) (a short animation of the scanned Christams ham: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ig6ttzk39mdpgy1/ProduceC...)
We would be very thankful if someone could break this problem!
