Nozzle Projection

(OP)
Good day. What shall we do if after fabrication the nozzle projections are found to be out of tolerance (assume to be higher or lower than allowable from any spec)?

RE: Nozzle Projection

What spec are you talking about?
Is it a problem?
Is it for connecting piping? if so, can it easaly be solved?
Is it a too long/short conn. for instr.? if so, is it a problem?
Are you manufacturer or client?
Is the nozz. conn. too weak? if so, can it be solved with reinforcements?
Please specify your question.

Hi europipe,

Thanks for the reply. The vessel should be connected with piping within the skid. And the skid are supplied by the vendor as a whole. Does it have any issue if the fabricator has mistaken the fabrication on which the tolerance is over the standard (let's say PIP). I think this should not be an issue since the interfacing points will be the point on the edge of the skid. Assume nozzles are SRN.

Any advise?

RE: Nozzle Projection

I think; modify your drawing.
Then it should be okee.

thanks for the advise.
