Why are most compressors lubricated?
List the function of cylinder and packing lubrication.

RE: compressor lubrication

Swarthy,
This is the second thread you've started and both of them seem to indicate that either English is not your first language, or that you are far to ungracious to be worth anyone's time.

In this thread "Why are most compressors lubricated?" is OK, a bit terse, but at least it is not a trivial question. Then the command to "list the function of cylinder and packing lubrication" and I start feeling like you are reading the question right out of your text book and in answering I would be violating the site policy about helping cheating students. The only reason I answered in the other thread was that you had gotten some incorrect information (that you never acknowledged by the way) and I didn't want that error laying around in the forum for people to read. If you are a student then both threads will be deleted and I can stop worrying about the error that I corrected.

Swarthy, I also hope the message from Zdas will help you improve the way you communicate with people in general.
