RE: Gell batteries

i am asking about the way for calculation the energy stored in 12V batteries , we know DOD for gel batteries 60% and but we are using volt meter the voltage at the terminal of the batteries is about 11.9 V and the controller give me low energy. so what we can do to calculate the energy in the batteries

RE: Gell batteries

So you want to calculate energy stored by measuring battery voltage? Do you want to measure while the battery is under load, or while the battery is disconnected?

Best to you,

Goober Dave

we have to know both, under load and disconnected the energy stored in gel batteries
