CHP Steam tie-in To Existing Steam Header
CHP Steam tie-in To Existing Steam Header
(OP)
Working on a project where we are installing a CHP into an existing plant.
I want to know the best way to tie-in the steam from the chp and control the steam to ensure maximum efficiency.
What do's and don'ts should I be aware of.

All your safety and trip functions must work in parallel with the existing and the whole thing loked at in terms of high / low pressure, temperature, flow and how the thing starts and stops, is isolated from each other and any combination of events which could mean one system affecting the other.
all a bit vague, but it's quite a vague question you ask....
