What is a good 2-way slab design software ? Where can I get it ?

RE: 2 way slab design

SAFE made by CSI and RAM Concept are both common and good in the US. You can buy them direct, look online - they're not cheap though.

RE: 2 way slab design

ADAPT also has one. If it is a mild reinforced slab PCA makes a quick and easy equivalent frame software that is relatively cheap but dirt simple and quick to use.

RE: 2 way slab design

I'm a big fan of RAM Concept. It's very powerful and has great features for calculating deflections.

RE: 2 way slab design

RAPT is the slab design software of choice in Australia.

RE: 2 way slab design

If you have calculated the area forces (moments per unit length) in each direction, this software may also then be useful, which can design any cross section including concrete slabs.
