buggy interface when modifying walls in Etabs 2013

buggy interface when modifying walls in Etabs 2013

(OP)
Can anyone else comment here if they are finding errors when they attempt to modify walls/frames in Etabs 2013. For example I am constantly finding the following issues:

1. Selecting a wall with the reshape tool (the second mouse pointer) and attempting to select the wall length in order to edit causes the wall length edit box to disappear and reappear, making it impossible to change the wall length in this way.
2. Using the reshape tool to drag the wall ends in plan occasionally causes the wall to disappear entirely.
3. Using the reshape tool to modify a wall on one story causes walls above and below to disappear entirely.
4. Same behavior as above but with columns.
5. Using trim/extend for frames will cause the frame end joint to shift slightly in the other direction, typically a very small amount. For example extend a frame along the X direction and the joint will move slightly along the Y direction. This causes connection errors when checking the model.

In my experience Etabs 2013 is riddled with these small bugs. However I would like to see if it is my computer or the software that is causing issues. Tech support seems to be oblivious to these, even when I send them my files. Has anyone else discovered these or similar bugs in their workflow?
