Combined multipart history tree ??

Combined multipart history tree ??

Combined multipart history tree ??

(OP)
Hello

In NX you have a different tree with the history of features for every part.

You need to go to the assembly navigator tab in order to change to a different part and then go back to the part navigator in order to see the model history and features.

Then my question is...
How can I show the features of several parts together in the same tree?
Other applications can do it.
This makes easier to drag features from one part to other.
It's also easier to select features from different parts at the same time.

Regards.

You don't

Consider opening an enhancement request (ER) with GTAC
This makes easier to drag features from one part to other.
Have you tried to copy & paste features between parts?
It's also easier to select features from different parts at the same time.

RE: Combined multipart history tree ??

Until NX allows multiple parts to be displayed simultaneously, WITHOUT them being part of the same Assembly, in other words, having multiple graphic windows open in the same session with a different part file in each window, there is little or NO need for being able to access multiple model trees simultaneously. And if you wish to open some ER's THIS is what you should be asking for, the ability to have multiple part files open at once, with the individual parts being accessible from multiple graphics windows simultaneously from a single session of NX and allowing users to perform operations such as dragging features or making references, like WAVE linking, between the parts by simply selecting objects in one window while performing an operation on a part file in another window. Until then, all the wishing about combined model trees and stuff like that is just a waste of breath.
