Source for volume-explicit form of cubic equation of state?
Source for volume-explicit form of cubic equation of state?
(OP)
Surely someone out there has gone through the algebra required to yield a volume-explicit form of a cubic equation of state. That is, I'm looking for a form using T and P as independent variables as an alternative to the commonly-seen pressure-explicit form that uses T and V as independent variables. I figured there's no point in working through the math if it's already done (at age 61, I'd like to know where to look up something as a first step).
If someone knows of a reliable source for this form of the classic cubic EoS in the literature, would they please post the citation? Thanks very much.

Good luck,

Technically, the glass is always full - 1/2 air and 1/2 water.

The key here (for my purposes) is the format: given the examples it should be fairly easy--I hope--to cast other cubic EoS in a volume explicit form.
