Lines and Arcs toolbar on a ribbon

Lines and Arcs toolbar on a ribbon

Greetings all!

I'm slowly making my way through NX9 ribbon interface. Now I have a question.
I tried to put the very useful "Lines and Arcs" command group on a ribbon, but so far managed only to bring about a button for it which does not show any toolbars if pressed. Do I need to manually create a commnad group and put commands from the toolbar there one by one, or can somehow I put all of them there altogether?
I've never been good at customising interfaces, that's my problem. :)

RE: Lines and Arcs toolbar on a ribbon

Do what I've done, and that is create what's known as a 'Gallery' (you do that by going into Customize and from the list of 'My' options, select 'My Gallery' and then drag one to where you want it in your Ribbon) which I then placed the various 'Line & Arc' icons (found using Customize under Menu -> Insert -> Curves -> Line and Arcs). The results are shown below:

This is the 'Gallery' shown in it's normal 'closed' state with only the first 4 icons available for immediate selection (I set the Gallery to use Medium Icons with only 2 across in the Ribbon).

While this shows the same 'Gallery' expanded so that you could get access to all of the other 'Lines & Arcs' functions (I set the Gallery behavior to 4 wide when expanded).

All of this was done using Customize and then saved in my Role.

Note that Galleries my prove to be a better alternative than Groups for things like this since it's unlikely that you will need access to all of the 'Line & Arc' functions all the time so this makes it easier to have access to the common ones (those shown when the 'Gallery' is just in the Ribbon verse when it's Expanded) but can still quickly get to all of them when it's expanded.
