Terminating Oversized Cables

Terminating Oversized Cables

(OP)
What's the proper way to terminate parallel conductors in a disconnect? The lugs would only except two wires that's one size smaller than the wires that exists.

A distribution block in a separate junction box just before the disconnect?

RE: Terminating Oversized Cables

Pin connectors such Hyplug can be used when wire is oversized for voltage drop.

RE: Terminating Oversized Cables

Might you be able to us some connectors from here: http://www.polarisconnectors.com/

I would be interested in hearing if the disconnect switch manufacturer may have some additional suggestions.
