Working with a drawing detail view using NX version 7.5

Working with a drawing detail view using NX version 7.5

(OP)
I have a busy drawing with lots of dimensions so I decided to create a detail view.

How can I move dimensions from the main view to the detail view? I know of some other cad systems where you can select dimensions and move one of them or a group of dimensions to the detail view so you don't have to re-create them.

Thank you!

RE: Working with a drawing detail view using NX version 7.5

If the original dimensions were created IN the view which the Detail view is referencing, then they will copy over to the new Detail view. However, if the dimensions were added to the Drawing itself, which is the normal NX behavior, then they will not be included in the Detail view.
