Hello,

We are modeling a Concrete T-beam in CAE ABAQUS to become as result a concrete fail of the beam after static loading.

We are using the Concrete Damage Plasticity model (CDP) to insert our input data. When the model is running we never attempt the value of 150kN at which the beam should fail when comparing with experimental data. Now we only attempt the value of 120kN, which is 80% of the static failure value.

In the stress strain diagram there is always a problem with the decreasing part (right part) of the curve.

Does anybody have skills in using ABAQUS with the use of the CDP model? And do you also use the values of PINAR OKUMUS as input value?

Thanks!
