Minimized Windows Problem

Minimized Windows Problem

(OP)
I am having the same issue as MechatroPro in this thread:
thread559-288229: minimized windows problem
It started while I was using 2013 SP0 after I changed a few menu settings and I could not get it to go back. I have since updated to 2014 SP0 and still have the issue. I tried uninstalling everything, including registry information, and reinstalling but I still have this issue. I have tried resetting the registry values and uninstalling all other programs that I installed recently and nothing is working. My graphics card drivers are up to date and have not changed since I didn't have the problem. Any ideas what could have caused this?

RE: Minimized Windows Problem

Have you run the SolidWorks Rx tool to see what it reports?

Does the problem exist if you open SW from a different user profile?

Diagnostics all looks good except my graphics card is an 'unknown configuration'. I've been using it for two years without issues though and am aware that it is not on the list of tested graphics cards. A different user profile on the same PC doesn't have this problem.

In that case, your profile may have become corrupted. You might be able to copy settings from the good profile (you will have to research which ones), but you may end up having to switch profiles.
