Multiple dimensions controlled by one independent variable in assembly

Multiple dimensions controlled by one independent variable in assembly

(OP)
Hi all,
I'm looking to change multiple dimensions in a butterfly valve assembly by changing only one independent variable defined in one of the parts. For example, by changing the independent variable "ValveSize" to 2", 3", or 4", it will change the body height, arm length, shaft diameter, and the body diameter (across multiple part files in the assembly) to specific values. I know you can use inter-part references to set up relationships between two or so dimensions, but was wondering if there is an easier way to change multiple dimensions with one change in an independent variable.

RE: Multiple dimensions controlled by one independent variable in assembly

Use Interpart Expressions to share the 'master' expression with each of the relevant parts and then set the expressions equal to this common expression.
