Errant DraftSight Option

Errant DraftSight Option

(OP)
I've tripped a dwg specific option in DS, and have been unable to find it to reset it. I've been using DS for about a week. Until earlier last evening, using the various drawing tools was straight forward, and intuitive. While trying to solve something else, it appears I created a new problem for myself. If I use the line tool now, first LM click starts a line as usual, but second LM terminates the line, and it disappears. I'm not discounting a display adapter issue, but I do have the most recent drivers I can find. I say dwg specific because in a new document, the drawing tools work as they had been. Any idea what I need to do to get back to work? Thanks for reading.

Dave

RE: Errant DraftSight Option

Perhaps you changed the color so that the line is the same as the background. Otherwise, under "Tools", "Options" there are settings for mouse behavior. Maybe you changed one of those.

Well, shoot. You nailed it. It was a layers issue. I was trying to draw on a layer that I'd hidden a few days ago. Thanks a heap; I appreciate the help.

Peace,

Dave
