RE: Stud Bolt help

The ISO 3506-01/ISO 3506-02 A4-80/A5-80 bolts and nuts are equivalent of ASME SA 193 B8M / ASME SA 194 8, stainless steel grade 316. Yes, you can use them as alternative to the ASME bolts/nuts. You have to check with the supplier for your particular application.
Cheers,

RE: Stud Bolt help

Compare both specifications. Composition, strength, application, restrictions, size and availability.

RE: Stud Bolt help

There can be a difference in strength (depending on size). The ISO 80 bolts have yield of 87 ksi, tensile of 116 ksi regardless of size. The ASTM, however, has varying yield from 50-95 ksi, and tensile from 90-110 ksi (depending on size).
