NX 7.5 DB_PART_NUMBER wont update in the assembly drawing!

NX 7.5 DB_PART_NUMBER wont update in the assembly drawing!

NX 7.5 DB_PART_NUMBER wont update in the assembly drawing!

(OP)
Hello,
I have a large assembly where I did a "save as" for a few parts. In my parts list, the numbers in the columns "db_part_number_ did NOT update. While in the DRAWING, When I right click on the part in the ANT the attributes show that DB_PART_number as the old number. When I'm in the loaded assembly (below the drawing) db_part_no is fine!! HELP.

RE: NX 7.5 DB_PART_NUMBER wont update in the assembly drawing!

I think you need to manually update your parts list.
You can update your parts list by finding it in your Part Navigator, and licking on it and selecting "update".
or Tools -> Table -> update parts list
or you can also click on the top left corner of the parts list on the drawing and selecting "update" from there.

Thanks, but it didn't work. Kinda scary that the part list on the drawing has numbers that don't match what's in the ANT. I ended up DELETING the parts from the assembly and reinstalling the parts into the assembly. In the drawing, I even tried edit levels, cntrl, de-selected the parts out of the parts list. Then went edit levels, cntrl, and selected the parts back into the parts list...still didn't work.

nealpatric6k1,

In the Assembly Navigastor try selecting the sub assemblies that own these changed components and MB3, Properties, "Synchronize Subassembly Properties" -> "Attributes".

HTH,

Joe
