More on ISO orientation tolerances for controlling location?

More on ISO orientation tolerances for controlling location?

(OP)
I just got a copy of Alex K's book on the ISO and in each of the orientation tolerances (when referenced MMR for features of size): "(tolerance)applies to the orientation and spacing of the group".
Is this where this originally got started or was it in the actual ISO standard somewhere? I remember we discussed this, here, but I do not have access to all ISO standards and the all of the versions. I also seem to remember that we had a contact with the ISO and someone said it was an error.
I do not get this impression from the Henzold book or the Nielsen book.

Yes, that answers all my questions, thank you both.
CH,
I finally got a copy of the book: "The ISO Geometrical Product Specification Handbook"

You may not like everything there, but you will not stay indifferent.
Even well-known things being explained from slightly different point look like an eye-opener smile

I, once again, decided to ask Mr. Nielsen about his opinion regarding attached figure from ISO 2692:2006. He said that there is indeed a mistake in the ISO document - perpendicularity tolerance does not control mutual spacing between the features of size. He also said that in the Danish version of the standard, the symbol of geometric tolerance used in this figure was changed to position.

pmarc,
Is that Henrik S. Nielsen by chance?

Yes, Frank.
That is Henrik S. Nielsen.
