Fluid power simulation software

Hello there,
I am looking for a simulation software for hydraulics in real world. I dont know and not sure any exist. I have come across Automation studio and Fluidsim.

RE: Fluid power simulation software

There are different types. 1D analysis software such as Amesym and Flowmaster will give good results in the way of system performance predictions. Ansys and other similar CFD simulation software will give useful predictions as well.

The sets of results from a 1D analysis will be very different from a CFD analysis. What do you need to know?

Automation studio is a powerful package but their customer support leaves a lot to be desired.

Tnx for the responses HPost and hydroman247. I have used automation studio for my night school project and my teacher was impressedsmile. One thing i thought it missed is the sound for the simulation. Anyway this time I need simulation software for my work to do a modification proposal report so I can make a video of the simulation. The software's HPost mentioned might bit high-tech for me. I might stick with the Automation studio. Tnx again.

RE: Fluid power simulation software

It is very easy to use without training and it does have the ability to display a lot of complex outputs whilst maintaining the ease of use.

It is expensive and I don't like the snap system it has for components and lines but there isn't anything else better at the moment.
