Dimension Text

(OP)
Hello,

I've recently started using DraftSight and I have a question about dimensions. I am new to CAD software so please keep that in mind when responding. Thank you.

I am creating a drawing with dimensions. When I create a linear dimension I am not able to see the dimension text. Can anyone help me figure out how to get the dimension text to show?

Thank you

RE: Dimension Text

Could be the dimension scale setting is so small the text is tiny. Could be the text color setting matches the background color. Could be other things I suppose. There is a DraftSight tutorial available for free download. You'll have to search for it, I can't recall the exact name and don't have it on this laptop. Maybe "Getting started in draftsight".
