Hydraulics Gradient Lines

Hydraulics Gradient Lines

Hydraulics Gradient Lines

(OP)
I have to do the calculate of hydraulics gradient lines (HGL)to show that enough hydraulics head to discharge water runoff by charge system to street gutter via existing stormwater outlet. Note that the new stormwater pipe of the new extension is connected to the existing stormwater system of the existing building.
My problem is : I have the reduced level of the new stormwater pipe. But I don't have the reduced level of the existing stormwater pipes. I only have the pipe gradient of 1% and stormwater pipe layout. The site is sloped to outside the street gutter. As I guess the pressure head should be enough for water to discharged to the street gutter.
Is it possible to track down or assume the pipe reduced level to calculate the HGL ? Otherwise I must get a plumber to obtain the stormwater pipe at the downpipe location where the water discharged from the roof ?

Thanks.
