large deflection analysis for a shell structure does not converge

large deflection analysis for a shell structure does not converge

large deflection analysis for a shell structure does not converge

(OP)
I cann't get any results from this kind of analysis, does any one has solution?

thanks

RE: large deflection analysis for a shell structure does not converge

Recheck which DOF is used for convergence criteria.

RE: large deflection analysis for a shell structure does not converge

(OP)
how to do this? for example if I have large deflection along U1 direction, should I set "monitired displacement" DOF to U1 right? how about "load applicationcontrol", should I choose "displacement control"

thanks

RE: large deflection analysis for a shell structure does not converge

Displacement control is more stable in most cases, so you can try that.

attached a simple model, but not sure the large deflection analysis results are correct or not, anyone has idea?
thanks
