Inconel 625 weld Metal Maximum Hardness

Inconel 625 weld Metal Maximum Hardness

Inconel 625 weld Metal Maximum Hardness

(OP)
I will appreciate it if you could help me to find the maximum hardness requirement for 625 material and also for average what is the hardness reading in first and second layer in 625 overlay?
In API 6A I says the minimum 83 HRB and in NACE MR0175 calls for 22 HRC just for HAZ and Base metal but not for overlay material.
I really appreciate your help.

For Inconel 625 base material, the hardness for solution treated material is approximately 80-95 HRB scale.

For weld metal equivalent, over the years I have seen as-deposited hardness of 625 vary between 85 HRB to 20 HRC, depending on substrate and welding process.
