interaction parameters for peng robinson equation

interaction parameters for peng robinson equation

(OP)
Hi I have a new question, so i use peng robinson equation to studing an absorption of CO2 from a hydrocarbon gas, so the simulation give me value similar to the litterature data at high pressure or low pressure, but for middle pressure are to far from litterature data. Anyone can help me with appropriate parameters?

RE: interaction parameters for peng robinson equation

Doesn't your software include a VLE data regression procedure ?

With that you should be able to calculate your parameters,
note that Peng Robinson can include one or more Kji,
for example in my PRODE PROPERTIES there are up
to 4 temperature dependent parameters which usually allow a very good fitting,

PRODE has a good VLE/LLE/SLE data regression procedure
but I am not sure that calculated parameters will be good for your sofware,

anyway you can see yourself,
