NX6 Import > Part using drawing borders creates multiple entities in groups

NX6 Import > Part using drawing borders creates multiple entities in groups

(OP)
I'm using NX6
I created a drawing border for a customer, moved it to the templates folder, and modified the .pax file.
If I insert it using the template or even use the Import > Part command and select the .prt file, I get a border that contains not only the original lines, but also contains 2 extra lines for each entity listed as (in group) How can I keep this from happening?

RE: NX6 Import > Part using drawing borders creates multiple entities in groups

My guess is that you don't actually have multiple entities, but each entity belongs to multiple groups - therefore it shows up multiple times in the 'groups' area. Adding the drawing border stuff to a group is generally a good idea, but you probably don't want multiple identical groups. Check to see if the groups exist in the template part. If they exist here, you can turn off the "create named group" option in the File -> import part dialog box.
