RE: Wax coated sprinkler head

Why use a wax coated sprinkler? If you're dealing with a corrosive environment, use a sprinkler coated in PTFE. It works in most all corrosive atmospheres.

RE: Wax coated sprinkler head

I did a quick search of Tyco and Reliable's line of standard spray sprinklers. Neither appear to offer QR sprinklers with a wax coating. Their standard response ones do come with wax coated as an option.

Note that both companies have a corrosion-resistant listing for their QR polyester coated sprinklers (e.q white, black).
