hello
I often read in ads the term 'electrical biased maintenance engineer'
what does 'electrical biased' exactly mean?
and how does a maintenance engineer become 'electrical biased'?
thanks!

RE: electrical biased maintenance engineer

As opposed to a mechanically-biased maintenance engineer. Someone who understands schematic diagrams, can troubleshoot power and/or PLC/SCADA type systems, etc.

RE: electrical biased maintenance engineer

I've always been the mechanically biased maintenance Engineer who wanted to work on electrical stuff with a 6-inch hammer wrench. The electrical guys with their teeny-tiny screw drivers and one-handed side cutters always made me smile.
