Brushless DC pump questions

Brushless DC pump questions

My customer is talking about brushless DC pump, they think if they can use Brushless DC pump and get DC power directly from battery(use transformer to get AC to DC into Battery for charging as power source) maybe they dont need use inverter anymore, is that possible? I heard that Brushless DC pump must work with a controller to start up? a BLDC pump + a controller would be cheaper than a normal AC pump + a inverter? can any gentleman tell me about it? thank you.

RE: Brushless DC pump questions

You have already asked this question in "Electric motors, generators & controls engineering Forum", that is probably the best place to ask anyway so I wouldn't expect any further world shattering advice in this forum.

It is a capital mistake to theorise before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. (Sherlock Holmes - A Scandal in Bohemia.)

The simplest way to remove the duplicate thread is to Red Flag the first message, and politely ask that the thread be deleted.
