Export to JT

Export to JT

Export to JT

(OP)
Good afternoon:

I 'm trying to export to JT an assembly prt file which has 5 files that are the same element (Instances). When I export it to JT from NX8.5, the program generates 5 independent files. How I can configure the export settings to do this correctly?

Please, see the image attached.

Thank you.

RE: Export to JT

Edit tessUG.config and change this line structureOption = "PER_PART" to structureOption = "MONOLITHIC"

Good Morning, stThree:

Maybe I didn't explain correctly yesterday which my goal was. My goal is to construct a single file for all instance elements, not one file for all structure. In my case, I have an element instantiated 5 times in the structure, and when I go to export to JT, the program separates me in independent files renaming them as _inst1, _inst2 ... I would like these files remain the same after the translation.

In the yesterday case, the "Y-902500-1580.f01.0079.prt" file has 5 instances in the tree. After completing the translation, the mentioned file is transformed in 5 independent files renamed as Y-902500-1580.f01.0079_inst1.prt, Y-902500-1580.f01.0079_inst2.prt… and I don’t want this.. I want to keep the original structure with the same numbers of the files.
It's possible to do this in NX?

Thanks you.

RE: Export to JT

I did misunderstand, sorry. Without just making it a single file, I don't know of a way to make it not create those files.

Thank you very much StTree.

I will continue looking for the solution. If I find something, I will tell you.
