Referenced Attributes in New Sheet

Referenced Attributes in New Sheet

Referenced Attributes in New Sheet

(OP)
Hi,
I found here some thread about this but no solution. So I try once more.
I have created drawing template where I referenced notes to attributes of model, e.g. Material.
For initial sheet it works, but in next sheets (Insert Sheet, or New Sheet) there are not actual references.
Is it software bug or I do it in wrong way?
Some hint or correct procedure?

Other details: native NX8.0.3.4 (no TC), master model concept
Thanks

RE: Referenced Attributes in New Sheet

Hm, you set up the drawing template.
Did you also set up the template that "insert -sheet" uses ?
- Is it the same drawing template or an older version of the same file?

I expect this to a erratic reference in either your .pax file or in the sheet template.

Regards,
Tomas

RE: Referenced Attributes in New Sheet

(OP)
Hallo Tomas,
I try shortly describe my approach:
1. Open model-plain-1-mm-template.prt. Insert "cube". Assign Material - e.g. Steel. Save. Check Properties - there is system attribute Material - Steel.
2. Open Drawing_A4-Size-template.prt. Assembly toolbar - Add part: model-plain-1-mm-template.prt. Inser view. Place Note into sheet, e.g. xxx. Then Edit this, change to Reference - component - select attribute Material. I got there Steel. OK.
3. From the model-plain-1-mm-template.prt delete geometry of cube (feature).
4. From Drawing_A4-Size-template.prt delete view.
5. SAVE ALL, close
6. Because ugs_sheet_templates.pax reference the Drawing-A4-Size2D-template.prt I simply copied the Drawing_A4-Size-template.prt as this 2D (replaced). So both these files are the same.
7. In case I have only one sheet it works good. I can assign new or another material (ABS), save, I have this instantly in drawing ABS. The problem is that if I insert another sheet (Inser sheet or New sheet), I have there wrong - not actual material but Steel.

Do you see some wrong step in this procedure? Have you experience with customisation of drawings?
Thanks, Juraj
