REPETITIVE PROCESS ELIMINATION OR REDUCTION

REPETITIVE PROCESS ELIMINATION OR REDUCTION

(OP)
HI all,

I have about 150 drawings (all on the same format) that I want to perform the exact same function to. I have tried messing around with doing it using trail files but am having a bit of trouble.

I want to:

1. Open the file
2. delete the release table
3. Replace the release table with one stored in the working directory.
4. Save the drawing
5. close the drawing

I would like to be able to just leave this to run overnight or something. I'm trying to avoid opening each drawing and repeating this operation.

Any ideas?

RE: REPETITIVE PROCESS ELIMINATION OR REDUCTION

Can it be done using a mapkey, in that case you may be able to automate it using "File Processor" from Impact.
