Dear All

I would like to know the procedural requirements when asme coded pressure vessel/ boiler
are decommissioned /scrapped like Informing National Board/AI etc/

I believe the NB has a form to fill up. If a small boiler no body cares' if a larger oone you are obligated to the jurisdiction boiler inspection agency. Your insurer and local pollution control if any for asbestos removal certification. For your own liability I would cut or grind off the nameplate. And destroy the vessel to make it unusable.
