Need help in importing a part containing a spreadsheet

Need help in importing a part containing a spreadsheet

Need help in importing a part containing a spreadsheet

(OP)
Need help in importing a part containing a spreadsheet.
We use NX 7.5.
When I import the part (say A) in another part (say B), all the features and expressions from part A are imported but the modeling spreadsheet is omitted. Part B is an existing part and has existing geomtry and cannot be overwritten.
All help will be appreciated.
Thanks.
Nikhil

RE: Need help in importing a part containing a spreadsheet

Spreadsheet data is NOT importable. The best that you could do would be to open the Spreadsheet in Part A, extract the contents into a text file or do a SAVE-AS and create a standalone spreadsheet. Then after you've done the Import, open the Spreadsheet function in Part B and 'copy & paste' the contents from the text file/spreadsheet exported from Part A. Now you will have to edit this data since any imported Expressions from Part A into Part B will have been 'hashed' to prevent possible conflicts with duplicate names.
