(OP)

Hi all,

I am simulating a concrete column in ABAQUS and I am having trouble with the loading.

I am trying to load the column using displacement control in x-direction for let's say 10 mm to the right (step 1) and then in step 2 load 2 mm to the left and 2 mm in the z-direction so I am expecting at the end of this stage the total displacement will be 8 mm in x-direction and 2 mm in z-direction. and so on for the next steps.

I am having trouble building this scheme and will appreciate any help.
Also, how can I get the results (load-displacement curve) for each step on its own without accumulation ?

Thanks in advance
