Hi,
As usual, I always appreciate any help/advice.
I'm dealing with old fiberglass wall panel (3/32" thick, flat) spanning 4 ft.
I'm trying to find some elastic strength and deflection limit, but not having much of luck. Properties of the fiberglass panel from typical manufacturers vary wide range, and I couldn't find any properties on flat ones. (Only saw corrugated panels).
Any advice?

When you get the numbers and specs, keep in mind they are for current products and not older products or ones that have been subjected to weathering and sunlight.

Greetings...I am a structural engineer for a fiberglass pultruder. Our Extren flat panels (flat 4'x8' sheets of plate) have a Young's Modulus of 2.6Mpsi minimum in the direction of pultrusion, or the strong direction. You should look at the edges and see if you can see layers in the build, which should be glass fibers. It's the glass that provides stiffness.

You could put a point load of known magnitude on it at midspan and back the stiffness out of the deflection equation, then back out the modulus since you know the moment of inertia....yes?
