What should be the Design Density for sprinkler system for a Supermarket Display, which is expeted to be upto 6 meters. The display will be in open shelving as in any other supermarket/hypermarket. The store building is with roof ceiling peak upto 9 meters and ceiling sides upto 6 meters. Apart form design density, also please advise the sprinkler K-factor suitable for this particular application.

Is it strictly food products or does it include general merchandise?
Are commodities encapsulated?
Are plastic pallets employed?
Is the building heated?

Your roof slope may cause further complications, especially if you desire to CSMA or ESFR.
