Cannot add a cylindrical support to a cylinder ANSYS WB 14.5

Cannot add a cylindrical support to a cylinder ANSYS WB 14.5

Hello All. I am pretty new to ANSYS and I feel like this should be a simple operation. I am probably missing something obvious here, but here goes:

I have imported a .igs file into ANSYS from NX. This solid body contains a cylindrical body that I would like to apply a cylindrical support to. When I right-click on the cylinder's face, I am not given the option to insert cylindrical support. I am only given 'fixed, frictionless, compression, and elastic' support options.

I have also tried highlighting the Modal branch and Right-click->insert->cylindrical support. But when I try to select and apply to the face, it does not register. I tested this out on another solid. See screenshot below. Any thoughts? Thanks for reading.

I have resolved this. I was unaware of the inaccuracies of .igs files. ANSYS was not resolving the feature as an analytical cylinder. I converted it to a STEP file for now until I get me NX CAD plugin working.

Thanks.
