Catia v5: Camera

Catia v5: Camera

Catia v5: Camera

(OP)

Hi everyone,

I've already tried to fix this problem reading the online guide ed using the 'search' function on this forum, but I found nothing.
I'd like to know if it's possible to save an user-defined Camera in a way that makes possible to use it also in another CATIA file.
Have I to record a macro to handle this?

Thanks in advance

RE: Catia v5: Camera

I'm not sure about saving a user-defined camera, but you could just set up a template file that has your cameras set up and "New-From" it. Of course that's only if you're making new files...

You could make a product file that has your cameras as you like and then import whichever model into it...

Thanks for your rapid answer, Nick.
I'm working with existing CATParts, so I'm going to use the second method, it seems to be simple and clever.
