Saving the Patran file in different formats

Saving the Patran file in different formats

Saving the Patran file in different formats

(OP)
Hi Guys

I have calculated a new quantity on each node of a meshed model. Now I need to show the distribution of these values on my model.
I am trying ti use Matlab to depict this distribution but it seems that Matlab could only read mesh in these formats:
OFF, PLY, SMF and WRL.
How could I save my Patran model in one of these formats so I could read the mesh in Matlab?
Thank you
Khashayar

RE: Saving the Patran file in different formats

I am not familiar with these file formats. But why don't you just use Patran to show the restuls?
