Nodal forces in local coordinate system

Nodal forces in local coordinate system

Dear all,

I wonder if there is any method in Abaqus to obtain nodal forces in local coordinates?

Or am I stuck with NFORC values? Because this is going to consume significant time since I need to form translation matrix and export the data to excel etc.

Thanks in advance!

RE: Nodal forces in local coordinate system

You can transform results between different c-systems in the Viewer. Results > options I think... try

Thanks for the reply.

I forgot to mention this but I have tried this earlier. However NFORC results are cannot be used with coordinate transformation i.e. user-defined coordinate system from the "Results" panel. It only works with stresses, displacement etc.
