Mirror Facet Body NX7.5

Mirror Facet Body NX7.5

(OP)
I want to mirror a facet body to see what a full studio surface will look like.

Unfortunately I do not have the Shape Studio license.

I can use Mirror Display, which mirrors everything visible. But this is just a quick look and I want something more definitive.

RE: Mirror Facet Body NX7.5

If you use the "old" transform option, you can mirror the facet body.
If the Transform option isn't visible under "Edit", use the Command finder and search for "Transform".
( Use "Mirror through a plane" and finally "Copy" , press cancel when done. ( OK will create another copy.) )

Tomas

On another note. I'm trying to export the scan with other parts to show the relation to a supplier.
However, because it's a faceted body, I can't export it to .stp or .x_t .
Any help?

I can export to .STL
Can you split a faceted body without Shape studio?

RE: Mirror Facet Body NX7.5

I don't think that you can, but I might have missed some option.

Regards,
Tomas
