Frame-Wall Structural Analysis

Frame-Wall Structural Analysis

Frame-Wall Structural Analysis

(OP)
Can somebody please recomend me some books, where I can read about how to model and determine the moment, axial and shear forces on frame-wall structures. I know how to model and determine forces in frames, but now that there are shear walls and bearing walls I'm not sure how to carry out the structural analysis. Thanks!

RE: Frame-Wall Structural Analysis

Same method as for frames, taking into account shear deformation of members.

Google "Shear wall - Frame Interaction" for more information.
