Locking Gears?

Locking Gears?

Locking Gears?

(OP)
Hello All,

I am trying to find the name of a product, or part that looks and behaves like the image attached.

Basically I know these Exists but cant think of the name.
I have a fixed object, and another which is pivoted on the peice and moves radially. One of each would be bonded or fixed to the parallel surfaces and would lock together when force is applied to force the two together.

What is name of these things?

Thanks in advance!

RE: Locking Gears?

Do a search for "toothed coupling" or "toothed clutch". You will find lots of images.
