Different power factor display

Different power factor display

Different power factor display

(OP)
Hi guys,
At a 50 MW power plant that is parallel with the grid i observed that the power factor of the out going feeder is different from the station transformer, the outgoing feeder is pf0.85 and the station trafo is pf0.95.
Since we are running in pf mode,by changing the pf the voltage change accordingly{by decreasing or increasing the excitation}.so i understand why the outgoing feeder is 0.85.what i donot understand is why i am seeing this reading on the station transformer since there are both on the 11kv busbar,we using vamp 260 for monitoring.can some please explain this or giude me accordingly.
.

RE: Different power factor display

Station transformer is feeding the station load? It's power factor has no relationship to the generator power factor, but is instead totally dependent on the station load power factor.
