creat threads in pro-e

(OP)
can anyone give a step by step process to creating threads in pro-e. (example threads inside a bottle cap)

RE: creat threads in pro-e

Use the Helical Sweep feature.
1-Create the bottle and the neck where you will place the threads.
2-Select Feature/Helical Sweep and right-or left hand (your choice), and Constant or Variable thread.
3-Create the axis or revolution for the center, and make the profile sweep path along one side of the bottle neck. Use Edge for this in sketcher.
4-Create the thread profile as required.
5-Enter the Picth Value (threads-per inch...).

Hope this gets you started.
