Cleaning mixture based on Na persulphate + NaOH

Cleaning mixture based on Na persulphate + NaOH

(OP)
Hello to all,

Please let me know if someone has experience in using a mixture of sodium persulphate + caustic soda (both at 2 % w/v concentration in water) in cleaning stainless steel vessels/pipes 304L. I am willing to used it as oxidizer for biofilm removal from the pipes/vessel, cleaning mixture will be used at ambient temperature.

The reason of this choice was the fact that we have it in stock.

Thank you in advance,

With regards,

Felix
