Etap problem, always crash when I add data in transient stability editor

Etap problem, always crash when I add data in transient stability editor

(OP)
I got the same problem in thread238-228578: ETAP help needed
I copied the problem as follow:

"To run a transient stability study on ETAP, you enter the transient stability editor, and create an "Event" and give it a name. Now within that Event, you create "Actions". An action, for example, can be a fault on a bus within your system.

So basically you create an event, and then go to create actions.

However, my ETAP crashes each time I click on the "add" button to add an action. It just pops up a dialog box saying an error has occured, and do you want to send the error message to microsoft, I click on "don't send" and then the whole program disappears and I have to re-start it, but the same thing happens everytime.
"

according to the thread, her problem already solved by went into the backend of the software instead of using the icons on the SLD main page.

can anyone explain to me on how to access this "backend" of the Etap software?

RE: Etap problem, always crash when I add data in transient stability editor

That's the kind of problem that should be covered by your maintenance contract with ETAP.
Send that directly to them. They should solve the problem rapidly.
