i have successfully installed NX 8.5 on my linux machine (kubuntu 12.04) when i launch NX via ksh $UGII_BASE_DIR/ugii/ugii the splash screen shows and then nothing. is there somewhere that a log file is generated so i can find out why NX does not initiate properly?

RE: NX on Linux

NX does generate a log file, but you may be shutting down before it gets written.
Is NX supportted on that version of Linux?
Does your computer have the hardware requirements of NX?
