CAD Modeller Job role?

CAD Modeller Job role?

CAD Modeller Job role?

(OP)
Hi,

I am currently working as a draughtsman in a manufacturing firm, where I am responsible to amend changes to the customer models and also to design and produce drawing for fixtures.

CAD Modeller job was posted and I believe that its similar kind of thing to what I am doing right now ?

Please correct if CAD MODELLER is in more details such as applying tolerance, surface modelling etc. Sorry don't have much information on the job description. Thanks for your time.

regards

Rodney

RE: CAD Modeller Job role?

Based on the position title, it could involve some design, but just as easily only be for a CAD jockey, creating models from existing drawings or designs. I would get more detail before accepting such a position.

A lot would depend on what was being used in your company, Are you hand drawing on a board now, or are you using a CAD system ?

You are judged not by what you know, but by what you can do.
